September 11, 2002 A great Russian fairy tale hero Dobrynya went to bathe in the Puchai-river... (from a Russian fairy tale)
A great Russian tale hero Dobrynya went to bathe in the Puchai-river. The place where he was going to bathe seemed absolutely safe to him, and the river looked soothing. Dobrynya took off his clothes, left his arms on his war-horse and began to bathe.
And suddenly!… the sky darkened, whirlwind started and a three-headed firedrake appeared. The horse started pawing and neighing, rose on its hind legs, snapped the bridle and dashed off. What was Dobrynya to do?
The hero was not at a loss. He took his Grecian hat, filled it with 40 poods of sand and hit the firedrake with that batlet so that he knocked off all the three heads at a time.
