The training seminar is dedicated to the study of possible ways of circumventing competing companies’ patents. Training is based on the “Technological Evolution Trees” method. In the development of the method, the author used the technical system evolution laws employed in TRIZ. This method helps solve key problems while circumventing patents and building patent umbrellas for obtained technical solutions. Using the “Technical Evolution Trees” makes it possible to identify unpatented versions of competing companies’ products and to select the most effective ones. Training also gives practical skills in information organization for obtaining alternative versions of a patent-covered system.
